History of Kettle Corn a tradition that dates back to the Pioneers:
In the 1800's, American pioneers of German decent made popcorn in large cast iron kettles over wood fires. For a special treat they would make "sugar corn" by sprinkling a little sugar over the freshly popped corn. Over time molasses, honey, or cane sugar were simply added while the corn popped in the kettle, creating a very unique and delicious treat known as "Kettle Corn."
